Ken doesn't treat bees. They're pollinators and the valley needs them, so if it turns out you've got bees rather than wasps, he'll tell you that and show you the difference instead of spraying them. He doesn't do termites or wildlife either. If it isn't his job, he'll say so.

In their words

What Ken's customers say

I was telling all my employees how great you were — especially knocking down the nests and sweeping them up. You've been amazing.

These are Ken's own customers, in their own words. He's just getting set up on Google — if he's worked for you, a review there would genuinely help.

About Defend Pest Control

The guy in the truck owns the company

Ken came out of a military civil engineering unit and went to school for biology — which is a long way of saying he finds bugs genuinely interesting and he knows how buildings actually work. Both turn out to matter when something is getting into your house.

He still does every job himself. That means the person who answers your call is the person who shows up, and the person who shows up is the one accountable for whether it worked.

He'll also explain what he's doing, in plain English. No jargon designed to make the job sound bigger than it is, and no pressure to sign anything.

  • Owner-operated — Ken does every job himself, every time
  • 25 years in pest control, with a biology background behind it
  • No contracts and no cancellation fees — stay because it works
  • Free re-service between visits if something comes back
  • Licensed and insured in the state of Utah
